This is trip 1 for this week. I have a feeling there will be a couple more to follow! If you read my Tale of Turning $1 ECB into $5.98, you’ll realize how grateful I was to have those $5.98 ECBs for this trip.
What I Bought:
1 Huggies GoodNites – $8.99
1 Hefty Trash Bags – $6.99 (We were COMPLETELY out of these!)
1 Schick Quattro Razor – $8.99
1 3 Muskateers Truffle Crisp Candy Bar – $.89
Coupons Used:
-$4.00 off $20.00 purchase CVS coupon received via email
-$2.50 off GoodNites printable coupon (no longer available)
-$4.00 off Quattro Razor CVS store coupon from a home mailer
-$4.00 off Quattro Razor coupon from July All You Magazine
-$1.00 off Hefty printable Facebook coupon
-$.50 off 3 Muskateers coupon from the in-store coupon printing machine
-$5.98 ECBs from last week
Merchandise Value: $25.86
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $3.88 plus tax
Savings: $21.98 (85%)
ECBs Earned: $7.00 ($4.00 Quattro, $3.00 Huggies)
I normally wouldn’t have even considered the trash bags. In fact, that’s why my total was so high. (Since when do I think paying $3.88 for all of this is paying too much?!?) We had used our last trash bag Saturday, and I didn’t want to stop at a second store just for trash bags. Overall…. These were good deals, so I can’t complain! I also ended up with another $1 in ECBs. That makes up for part of it.
