I love bagels. What I don’t love is the fact they’re jam-packed with calories. The people at Bruegger’s have come up with a way to cut bagel calories without sacrificing bagel taste. They new Bruegger’s Skinny Bagel has all the taste of a regular bagel and about 100 fewer calories per serving.

Bruegger’s didn’t try to slim down their bagel by changing the ingredients. They didn’t want to compromise the taste or texture of the real New York style. Instead of changing the recipe, Bruegger’s cuts the bagels using a patented knife, removing approximately 1/3 of the center but preserving the unique eggshell crust and delicious toppings. The result is a lower-calorie option without sacrificing variety or taste.
