Model Behavior {31 Days of Becoming an Intentional Parent}

She is a mini version of us. She does what she sees and speaks what she hears. What a weighty responsibility for us.

She sees us lending a helping hand, and she learns to help those who need it.

She sees us rolling our eyes at the dog, and she does the same.

She hears our words and the tone of our voices, and she uses both.

She sees modesty, and she is uncomfortable when her shirts get a little shorter after a growth spurt.

She sees our unmade bed and probably wonders why hers needs to be made. 😉 Yes, this modeling is hard work. We’re not perfect. We’re just trying to intentionally make our actions match our words so that she sees us living out what we believe.
