Staples: FREE Backpacks are Back!

Next week (7/25-7/31), Staples will be offering their backpacks FREE after Easy Rebate. You can choose ANY backpack and get 100% of the purchase price back in the form of a Staples gift card. This offer is good for purchases made in the store, online, or over the phone.

To make the most of this rebate deal, try this……

1. Start out at ShopAtHome.com. If you’re not registered, I recommend signing up. It’s free, easy, and worthwhile. (If you always start your online shopping there, and you’ll earn cash back when you shop.)
2. Once you’re signed in (or signed up) at ShopAtHome.com, search for Staples. Click the Staples link in the results.
3. Once you’re on the Staples website, search for backpacks. Purchase your backpack. To qualify for free shipping, choose a backpack that’s $50 or more.
4. Submit your Easy Rebate after your purchase.

You’ll end up with a backpack, a Staples gift card worth 100% of what you paid for the backpack, and 3% cash back from ShopAtHome.com.  If you have a Staples Rewards card, your purchase might also qualify for rebates there too.

My idea for this deal…..

You could end up getting two (or more) Christmas gifts for people on your shopping list. You could get a backpack for one person and then use the rebate to get another gift. Staples has many computer accessories, mp3 players, and other gift-giving items. If you hold onto your rebate card until there are coupons available, you could make your rebate worth even more!

Last year, we used this deal to get a great laptop backpack for Jason’s brother. It was a NICE backpack, definitely nicer than we would have gotten had we been paying just for that backpack. We knew that we would use the Staples rebate for printer toner (our business requires that we buy it regularly). It was money we would have spent with or without this backpack deal, so we basically got this gift for FREE.
