Win a Chex Mix Prize Pack & $25 Kroger Card

December 15, 2010

We love Chex Mix at our house! While we usually buy the premade bags of Chex Mix, this time of year just calls for us to make our own. So we did!

We’re big chocolate-lovers, so we opted for the Chex Mix Muddy Buddies… the chocolate coated variety!  We took our two boxes of Chex Cereals and a $25 Kroger gift card from MyBlogSpark and got to work.

I had the cutest little kitchen helper, which made this project even more fun!

We measured, melted, and mixed.

Then we coated the chocolate-covered Chex with powdered sugar to seal in the yumminess.

This mix got rave reviews from the whole family!

If you want to try making Chex Mix Muddy Buddies, you can find the recipe here.  We still have some Chex left, so next we’ll be making Myra’s Cranberry-Caramel Chex Mix…. yummy!

To make things even sweeter, Kroger Family of Stores will have Chex cereal on sale so you can impress your guests without stressing your wallet. Now through  December 25th, Kroger will offer Chex cereal at their lowest prices of the year!

Would you like to win a prize pack from MyBlogSpark so that you can make your own Chex Mix? One lucky Saving & Giving winner will receive two boxes of Chex Mix and a $25 gift card for Kroger or a Kroger affiliate store.

To Enter:

  • Leave a comment below (required entry): What kind of Chex Mix would you like to make?

If you are reading via email or in a reader, please click through to the post to enter.

One winner will be randomly chosen on Friday, December 17 at 9:00 p.m. EST.

Disclosure: I received two boxes of Chex cereal and a $25 Kroger gift card to purchase the supplies for this project. All opinions are – as always – honest and my own.
